Sketchbook drawing I did a few hours ago, could not go to sleep for the life of me... oh well, did some works I really like so it worked out for the best I guess! I cannot get enough of art nouveau! Mucha, je t'aime.

I cannot remember the name of the model I ref'd, nor where I got the pic from but she is a beautiful, beautiful red-head! Paper texture from somewhere on DA, been on my harddrive for years!

Originality Technique Impact“Cigarette Cindy sketch” by =chill07 drew me in immediately to click!
The entire picture, though gritty and textured in appearance, is well-balanced in terms of form and figure. The shape of the hair is balanced with the curling smoke, and even the facial features draw the viewers eye to the center then all around the picture. The paper texture creates a little essential value in this portrait, but it skillfully leaves much for anyone to fill in with their own eyes. There’s something iconic about this woman, be it the beauty in the detail or the lyrics, but it certainly makes for a strong impact with very few lines.
Very well done for such a simple sketch!
